Late August is harvest time for the white wine grapes in the Temecula Valley. And since the harvest usually takes place in the cool of night, its hard to know just when the picking is done. I dont get very many opportunities to photograph the full clusters of these fine white varietals, but was lucky enough to find a small vineyard on Monte de Oro Road that still had these beautiful green grapes on the vine. I arrived at this particular vineyard with just a few moments of sun left on the horizon, and scrambled through this little vineyard to come away with this lovely picture bathed in golden sunlight.
